Description : Capture the base map!

Once the dark age of the Cold War was over, all mankind lived in
peaceful co-existence helping each other to create a better world.
The end result of this collaboration was the construction of a joint
space project, and the early colonization of the moon, with the
creation of the first Moon base.

The point of all this hard work and endeavor? To mine mooncheese, of
course. This is where all the trouble started...

The Russians wanted the mooncheese as they acquired a taste for the
foul-smelling substance, a cross between Stilton and mature babies
nappies (diapers).

The Americans wanted it for production of Mars space probes (as the
Martians wouldn't go near the stuff...)

The Australians wanted it to increase the production of homemade
soaps but they really didn't have much of a say in the matter. (Thank

Being civilized countries (America only qualifying a few months ago)
they both agreed it would be in the best interests of the common good
to seek a ruling by the United Nations.

After much deliberation and discussion, the UN decided that the only
viable solution would be for each nation to go out and kill each
other. (This made easier by the fact that they both reside near the
jointly-built spaceport).

"Whoever owns the moon base shall own the mooncheese", said one
slightly sober UN representative.

After exchanging handshakes and blades to each other's vital organs,
both sides set off for the moon....

------Credits and Thanks---------------------------------------------

Thanks to all those Old Geezers who volunteered for map testing,
Dark Ranger Coder, Talon, MrMcFeely, TheReaper, JackhOle, WarHogg,
Myok to name just a few (Jeez, I guess my mind is getting too old...)
Also to Borg, Juice and Nimrod for testing.

Thanks again to Coder for supplying me with a server worth testing on
and anyone else I've forget to mention

------Additional Info, Tips, and Notes-------------------------------

Use your flag status button to find whether or not there is a
flag to take to the moon. A flag will be available whether or not
your side has captured the moon base but only one will be available
to pick up at any one time. Once you have captured the moon base,
get someone else to take up the backup flag.

The monitors in the respawn rooms indicate if your team currently
controls the moon base. (Large Version Only)

Take the shortcut out of the spaceport if you are going via the tunnel
route. Instead of going into the spaceport, go up the ladder on the
back wall. This will take you straight outside. (Large Version Only)

When waiting for the rocket to take-off, always have someone on patrol
outside to stop the enemy from tossing a grenade into the ship.

Grab a moon suit as soon as possible. While wearing the moon suit you
will always respawn on the moon. Beware! When you die you discard the
moon suit! This means other players can steal your moon suit if you
are too slow to respawn!

On the moon, use the tunnels to go directly to the basement of the
moon base. Make sure you have a moon suit first, so you do not respawn
in the spaceport and have to fly to the moon again. (Large version Only)

The second level of the moon base has teleporters that will take you
back to earth, use these if you need to get your teams' flag again.

The moon respawn areas have a teleporter to your flag room. Use it if
your flag is back on earth. WARNING: Only enter one at a time as you
can get stuck to a teammate (tele-frag)!

Throughout the development cycle of mooncheese, problems with the
rocket persist. The biggest issue was caused by "laggy play" on the
Internet. During extreme conditions, player positions and rocket
(train) positions get confused, which can result in the player
existing in the same space as the rocket. This traps the player and
the rocket until the player is free.

I've tried my best to eliminate this bug but the end result is that
the next rocket will not actually take you to the moon. Hopefully
after that one, everything else should be in sync again.

To help eliminate other problems, the clip object for the rocket has
been extended upwards; this should (hopefully) resolve things but
results in people being able to jump through the top of the rocket
but not out of it.
