General overview:

Startup/Performance
---------

If you like to run this map at resolutions higher than 320x240 ... YOUR SYSTEM IS UNDER_CONFIGURED!!!
most peoples QuakeWorld setups are not configured for what thier machine can easily handle.. if you got a p120
or better and 32 RAM... i advise you add these to your config files
.. the ones that execute on startup and before you enter maps

r_maxsurfs 1200
r_maxedges 3200
// mainly cause these are annoying and obvious
showram 0
showturtle 0

If not and you use regular QWCL.exe .. itsd best to add this to your cammand line +"showram 0;r_maxedges 3200;r_maxsurfs 1200" -heapsize 20000 (or more)
or type these at the console and reconnect... if you use GLQuakeWorld.. then +"showram 0" -heapsize 20000 (or more) will do fine. This map
was designed and playtested mostly with GLQuake and GLQuakeWorld as regular QWCL crashes my machine for no reason... so I didnt really notice
many of the poly problems (which are small and only just out of range) until later... most systems are under configured though, and a P120 can
easily handle r_maxsurfs 1200;r_maxedges 3200... so set this in your config file and you'll probably solve problems in alot of maps (like Street1, which
gives me tons of grey-out if I dont.)

Tour
---------
I included a tour for ppl who have trouble figureing out the map.. its not tough, but I know your out there =)
startup in fortress dir and type playdemo navtour at console.

Point System
---------
This map is a simple Capture the Flag system, with a little bonus to add some extra fun.
Grab the enemies flag, its above the largest waterfall, and return it to your Capture Point for 10 team points, which
is the misty ball located in a lava-pit room off the side of the main lobbies. On the way, why not
enable the Team Quad (15 seconds) by taking the flag to the enemies Capture Point... you wont be
stripped of the flag, but it should be sufficiently difficult to do this =)

Architecture
---------
There is two spawn rooms per team. Spawn One has a defensive teleport that leads directly to your flag..
or at least close to it =). Spawn Two has a back entrance that leads to the snipers nest. The central
are, between the spawn rooms is the main lobby which also has a hallway (behind wall opposite entrance)
that leads to the Capture Room...

Leaving Spawn One.. too the right is a hall that leads to the Inner Canyon ... follow the paths to the large
waterfall.. above which is Your Flag... thier are Platforms in the water, some obvious, some not that will lift you
back up to the ledges if you fall off. Under the water, there is a tunnel that leads to your well room (disrectly under
Spawn Two)... and from there to the outside or an underground passage, depending whether you take the vertical passage
up or down.

The outside is simple... you have two battlefields, connected at the ground level by a tunnel, and at the road level
by another tunnel... the road level is gaurded by the sniper nests, but the ground level takes a little longer.. your choice=)

Errors
---------
Some people with regular QWCL.exe get "some" grey-out and slow down in the main lobbies at higher resolutions... I dont get these personally..
and they dont seem to be an issue at lower resolutions, but this can mostly be fixed at your end by starting with +"r_maxedges 3200;r_maxsurfs 1200;showram 0"..
or typing each of those at the console and reconnecting.. a GLQWCL user would only need to use showram 0, and then only if it gives them problems.. I use GLQW,
so these issues didnt crop up until final testing... next release, Ill try to minimize them, shouldnt be a big deal =)

Some ppl seem to think things are errors when i intentionally made them that way... like the outside floor texture
being pixilated somewhat... deal with it.. I liked it.. and if you dont Im sorry... play anyways and dont be so picky =)

(this was FIXED in 1b)
removed the grapple.. as it is a heinous and grossly implemented device..
resupply packs now give less grenades.. to prevent a soldier and demoman from locking up the whole base with just grenades
fixed some of the messages so that you actually get to see when your flag is taken.. sometimes it would go by too quickly or be overwritten with other Stuff and youd miss it
added some noise to the resupply packs

(this was FIXED in 1a)
Had some ppl report an odd texture problem when viewing the floor just outside the entrances at a certain angle... turned out to be the
Megahealth, so it is removed... interestingly enough... this error no longer happened when QWCL 2.1 was released (the day after i took out the megahealth =)
bu I left it out just in case...

Final Note
---------

DONT CHEAT... its demeaning to yourself and to TF. It implies Emotional and Intellectaul Imaturity, which
for some reason in this day and age is a "FAD".. people have hard lives, just like you, and find some small escape
when playing quake.. try being a part of something rather than the misquitto that bites a few times, then gets swatted
to a pulp.. youll go farther in life that way, i gaurantee it.~=)

Peace be the Journey...
