BETA INFORMATION (CHANGES SINCE PAST RELEASES)

Beta 1.0 - Initial Release

Beta 2.0 - Strobe lighting removed. New respawn rooms at base. Flag now surrounded by glass wall
which much be opened via the switch at the top of the base. New textures, most have been re-aligned.
Bots play better (don't know why, but they do! - except for crossing the bridge!). Switches moved to more
dangerous positions (e.g. easy to be sniped). Sniper towers improved. Upper sniper deck improved. Health
on bridge. A much better release!

Beta 2.5 - Bug fixed where the red team would sometimes respawn in the blue base. Bridge texture changed,
red capture point texture re-aligned. No grenades area added around bridge to stop god-damn medics
conc-jumping over! Sniper towers have new team colour textures. Lights added in sniper towers to make
walking through them much easier. Canyon under bridge given name so that the message:
"Whoever was killed by trigger_hurt" will now say "Whoever was killed by The_Bridge". Other bugs fixed.

Capture point moved. Sniper towers updated. New trigger_hurts (to stop enemy getting into respawn
rooms). New lighting. New switches (better, now animated). Clip textures added (to stop you jumping out
of sniping windows in main bases and sniper towers). Overall a much better improvement!!!

INSTALL INFORMATION:

Extract bridge_of_death.bsp to the maps directory within your TFC folder (e.g. c:\sierra\half-life\tfc\maps)
Extract bridge.wad to the TFC folder within your Half-Life folder (e.g. c:\sierra\half-life\tfc)
If you have installed previous betas of this map, simply overwrite the existing files.

PLAY INFORMATION:

Plays very similarly to 2fort, with the added feature of a bridge that can collapse! Basically, take the enemy
flag from their base and capture it within the upper deck of yours. However on the way you must take care
crossing the bridge as an enemy (or even a foolish team-mate) can press one of six switches which will cause
the bridge to drop into the canyon below (killing you instantly). You must also head to the top of the enemy
base to deactivate the wall which surrounds their flag, in order to grab it from their base. There are two
sniper towers to the sides of the bridge which can be used to snipe anyone unexpecting to be sniped!

PERSONAL NOTE:

This is my first map (ever) and it took me 3 weeks 1 day to construct it from scratch. I'm rather pleased with my efforts,
although I need to learn a bit more about entities and textures. I will make some more TFC levels, then will
concentrate on Counter-Strike and plain ol' Half-Life, and Unreal Tournament.
